Privacy policy

Last updated 13 October 2026. What this site collects, why, and what you can do about it.

In short

Potter’s House Cult does not ask for your name or contact details. There are no contact forms and no comments. The only personal data you can give us is an email address, if you choose to subscribe to the newsletter.

What we collect

  • Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is stored by our newsletter service, Mailchimp, and used only to send new articles. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Statistics. With your consent, Google Analytics measures which pages are read, using cookies. We see totals, not individual visitors.
  • Social media. With your consent, the Meta pixel records visits so we can measure our Facebook posts. Share buttons only contact the platform when you click them.
  • Server logs. Our host, SiteGround, keeps technical logs such as IP addresses for security, for a limited time.

Cookies

Functional cookies keep the site working. Statistics and marketing cookies are only placed after you agree in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link on every page.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and object to its use. For the newsletter, unsubscribing removes you. For any other privacy or copyright request, including removal of a photo, email info@pottershousecult.com. This address handles privacy and copyright requests only; other messages are not answered.

You also have the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
